HIPPO CLASS – LOVING & SAFE FIRST STEPS FOR CHILDREN AGED 1–2
Ages 1–2 mark the very first stage when children begin to gently “separate” from the close embrace of their family and step into the wider world beyond.
At Hippo Class, each day at school is a tender first-life journey, where children are welcomed with caring eyes, gentle voices, a friendly environment, and an inspiring learning space designed especially for their earliest experiences.
At this age, children do not learn through theories or rigid structures —
they learn through play, interaction, and emotions.
That is why the Hippo Class program is thoughtfully designed to:
Build a strong foundation for children’s holistic early development.
Support the formation of positive daily routines, emotional security, and children’s first connections with a caring community.
Nurture the five global Approaches to Learning (ATL – IB) in a natural, gentle, and loving way.

Ms. Mai Thi Dieu Linh
Hippo Class Teacher
For children aged 12–24 months, a day at school is not simply “going to class” — it is their very first steps away from their parents’ loving arms. That is why parents hope to find a teacher who is gentle, caring, and deeply patient. And that is exactly who Ms. Mai Thi Dieu Linh is — the “warm flame” of Hippo Class. Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Linh brings not only strong professional knowledge but also a heart filled with love and devotion. To her, every meal, every nap, and every comforting hug is just as important as any planned learning activity. She understands that at this tender age, what children need most is a sense of safety, love, and being truly understood. Parents can easily recognize her dedication through the smallest details: the gentle eyes that soothe a crying child, the patient smile as she helps little ones adjust to daily routines, or the soft, caring hands that help them drift into peaceful sleep. At Hippo Class, Ms. Dieu Linh is not only a teacher — she is like a second mother, bringing children a sense of calm, warmth, and joy every single day they come to school. -
Ms. Do Thuy Trang

To her, every meal, every nap, and every comforting hug is just as important as any learning activity. She patiently observes each child’s behavior and emotions, using those moments to create small yet meaningful activities — ones that feel familiar, gentle, and spark joy in exploration. For Ms. Trang, every moment of play and every child’s smile is an opportunity to plant the seeds of confidence, love, and beautiful early-life values. At Victoria, Ms. Trang represents a new generation of educators — attentive listeners, open to innovation, and constantly striving to grow — all to ensure that every Hippo child enjoys a truly happy, secure, and fulfilling early childhood. -
